5-Day Pearl Harbor Tour - 2020

Return to the site of one of history’s most underhanded attacks to remember the “day that will live in infamy,” the attack on Pearl Harbor. We will visit the monuments that honor those who gave their lives in defense of liberty in the Pacific, as well as the battleships that remain, the museums that safeguard the relics of the period and the island treasures that make Hawaii famous.

  • Passengers are greeted at Honolulu International Airport and transferred to the hotel in Waikiki. In the evening there is an introduction to the tour and a chance to get acquainted.

  • We spend the morning exploring the USS Missouri, where passengers can stand on the spot where the Japanese surrender was signed, marking the end of WWII. After paying our respects at the USS Oklahoma Memorial on Ford Island, passengers can visit the Pacific Aviation Museum and its hangars holding both Allied and Japanese bombers and fighter planes. The rest of the afternoon is free in Waikiki to soak up the sun or shop around.

  • This day offers a true insight into the natural beauty of the island of Oahu. We spend the morning at Kualoa Ranch on the eastern shores exploring the valley for WW II bunkers and sites where movies such as Pearl Harbor and Jurassic Park were filmed. In the afternoon we take in the views of sprawling Waikiki Beach from the top of Diamond Head crater and enjoy its beautiful state park, dotted with WWII bunkers and pillboxes.

  • We spend the first half of the day at the WWII Valor in the Pacific National Monument in the heart of Pearl Harbor. The morning features attendance at the official ceremony remembering the fallen of the attack on Pearl Harbor. In additional to crossing by boat to the USS Arizona Memorial, the passengers can also go on board the USS Bowfin submarine. In the afternoon we honor the valor and sacrifice of the heroes of the Pacific Theater at the “Punchbowl” Cemetery followed by a visit to Battery Randolph in Fort DeRussy, housing the US Army Museum, which offers insight into the military role the Hawaiian Islands have played, along with a detailed exhibit on the attack on Pearl Harbor. The evening is rounded off with the traditional Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade on Kalakaua Avenue.

  • After saying goodbye, our guests are brought to Honolulu International Airport for their return flights.
