8-Day Normandy 76 Tour - 2020

The 76th anniversary of D-Day

The commemorations of the 76th Anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy will truly be a unique event. Visit all five landing sectors and gain an in-depth understanding of what it took to storm those beaches on that fateful day. Visit iconic sites like the Normandy American Cemetery and Pointe du Hoc, as well as Sainte-Mere-Eglise, Pegasus Bridge and Brecourt Manor to learn more about the airborne operations away from the beachheads. We attend numerous re-enactments, ceremonies and festivities in the area. Adding flavor to the week’s activities is a vast array of World War II vehicles on display and in motion, parachute jumps, airshows and much more. D-Day is just the start of this tour, as we also explore Saint Lo, Cherbourg, Falaise and the magnificent abbey of Mont Saint-Michel and the castle of William the Conqueror.
