America’s favorite Historical Tours
"From this day to the ending of the world, but we in it shall be remembered; we few, we happy few, we band of brothers; for he to-day that sheds his blood with me, shall be my brother." (Shakespeare: Henry V). Although these words have made Easy Company famous through the HBO miniseries,
Band of Brothers, one should never forget that WWII was not won by a single company but by millions of dedicated men. In both World War I and II, as well as in the American Civil War, brothers in arms fought side by side and made history: history that connects centuries, history that
connects people and history that sometimes repeats itself. Beyond Band of Brothers Tour takes those who understand and appreciate the heroic sacrifice of the everyday American serviceman on an unforgettable journey through time from Europe to the Pacific on a variety of military history tours.
In 2017 we continue to strive to give you not only the most complete experience of military history tours, but also background in American history. To meet this goal we have expanded our package tours to offer you the American Civil War Tour with a look at warfare on American soil. In honor of the 100th anniversary of the US’ entrance into WWI, we are proud to bring you tours that focus on the Great War and its relationship to World War Two. The Fields of World War I, General Patton and Two World Wars tours together provide a balanced look at the “war to end all wars.” We also continue to expand our existing tours in Europe with a new bite-size tour of the Normandy landing beaches and our new Eastern Front Tour focusing on the war in Russia and how it spurred on the Cold War. You’ll also find a variety of tours in the WW2 Pacific Theater covering Pearl Harbor, Guam, Saipan, Tinian and Okinawa.
We are proud to offer expanded coverage of the WWII Pacific Theater in 2018 with battlefield tours to the islands of Peleliu, Okinawa and mainland Japan. The 11-day Rising Sun Tour focuses on the culture of Japan, the atomic bombs and some of the heaviest fighting in the Pacific battlefields. By offering a chance to understand the role of Japan in WW2, we enable history buffs to experience World War 2 history beyond the ETO. In Europe, we continue to deliver a wide selection of tours that allow travelers to take their dream trip to Normandy, follow in the footsteps of the Band of Brothers, explore Jewish culture and the Holocaust, and enjoy WW2 tours of Germany during the Third Reich. We are excited to bring you our new Cold War Tour, which will allow you to gain an understanding of what life was like for those behind the Iron Curtain.
